About Alluvial Software, Inc.

Alluvial Software was established by Monte Davidoff in 2000. Monte has over twenty-five years of experience in system software development. The companies he has worked for include: Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, Stratus Computer, Hewlett-Packard Laboratories, Ready Systems, Tandem Computers, and Honeywell Information Systems on the Multics project. He was instrumental in creating Microsoft's first product. Monte received a B.A. in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science from Harvard University. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).

ByteSizeBooks: Embedded the Python interpreter into an Adobe Acrobat plug-in for Windows. Implemented a GUI for the plug-in using Python/Tkinter.

Interwoven: Maintained the Interwoven TeamSite file system server.

Redback Networks: Enhanced the GNU linker to support dynamic linking of a.out files on NetBSD/i386. Rehosted the NetBSD tool chain onto Linux.

Silicon Spice: Emergency restoration of ClearCase services.
